While on tour with Celebration, Miyuki Furtado of the Rogers Sisters met some of Katrina Ford's Atlanta-based friends. Finding like-minded musicians in British born vocalist Destiny Ming Wan Montague and guitarist/melodica player Autry Rene Fulbright, he offered to play drums for them if they ever made it to New York. Shortly thereafter, not without a little encouragement from TV on the Radio's David Sitek, Fulbright and Montague relocated to Brooklyn. With a co-conspirator in Miyuki, the way was paved for Shock Cinema. And that way is revenge. For the rest of 2007, Shock Cinema will focus on touring and recording tracks for their next effort at Sitek's Stay Gold Studio with Chris Coady (Blonde Redhead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gang Gang Dance). Members of ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead and Dragons of Zynth are adding additional instrumentation.
