raein features the drummer of the much praised italian band la quiete plus a bunch of screamo kids with ants in their pants. after an impressive self-released mini-cd this is their first full length release. as almost every other band on ape must not kill ape raein is heavily influenced by portraits of past, but they must be listening to some saetia and spirit of versailles in between as well. the eight tracks here are brutal, they're emotive, they're ugly, they're beautiful.
